New owner...couple questions

Recently purchased a 2000 Shabah 222 w/7.4. I'm curious about a couple things. What is the difference between the 222 and the Z 222 and where can I find the factory specs for the 7.4L engine. Would also like to have access to an owners manual (online would be ok). Any help would be appreciated...

Z boats have extra features such as power seats, power hatches, windshield defoggers & wipers, docking lights etc. As for the manuals, PLEASE read the STICKY located at the top of the Introductions forum.

Thanks for your reply. Any idea on the engine output?

I take it the engine is MPI , which puts it at 310 HP per Mercruiser figures.

Couple more dumb questions...

What is the blue fluid in the reservour located top front port side of engine (7.4)?? Hose runs to back side of engine and hard to see where it ends up. Fluid appears to be low. :(

Is the green LED on the battery saver supposed to be lit when plugged in? Do these go bad after 14 years?

Sounds like your outdrive oil reservoir. You dont want that to get low.

Possibly yes but maybe someone here with a boat similar to yours can comment.
