Camera and mount suggestions

I tried to get ahold of Andy but I haven't seen him on here in a while....

Does anyone have a suggestion for a camera and mount to get good clear video of tube riders and wake boarders behind the boat?

I'm going to guess you don't have a radar arch? :)

No. It's a Shabah 202. I am thinking I'm going to have to go to the windshield

Bimini frame maybe?
Just a thought after looking at your avatar pic.

Lol Colorado, thought about that but the bimini shakes way too much. What I'm really after here is a camera model and mount type that anyone has used with success. I tried having my wife and 16yo film w a 35mm but it was horrible and unusable.... Looking for something no one has to "work" to use lol because that's just not gonna happen. I sent a.pm to andyb as I know he's posted a bunch of.killer video but no response and I haven't seen him on in a while...

I don't know much about them but maybe a gopro with a suction mounted to transom or swim platform angled to see the entire back area...

That's what I thought but I wonder what type of mount andy uses to get it so steady. From what I understand they go pros do not have an image stabilization so he must have a really good mount

Hi sorry for the late reply...... things are a bit nuts here ATM
Yes I've got a Gopro 3 Black and the boat has a few mounts stuck to it in several places, But a lot of the time I use a suction cup mount on the screen.
You can buy arms and all sorts of different brackets for the GoPro.
I had it stuck to the side of my helmet Riding through the Alps
I word of caution... GoPro's sink
I've got a lifejacket on the back off mine and if it's rough I have it tethered.

You got to get a Go Pro with handle bar mount and you can mount on the grab bar on the transom. Won't be shaky at all.
