Plans to Buy Z225 Davanti

Hey Folks -

First off, great to see a community around what seems to be a great brand.

I have an appt tomorrow to see a 1995 Z225 Davanti and do a test drive. This is the 3rd and likely final inspection. If possible, I am looking for a little feedback on the boat, price, etc... and any general advice as it relates to Mariah. I've owned a few different boats and Sea Doos but none since having kids, so we're looking for a reliable, quality yet inexpensive boat and was originally targeting an early 90s Cobalt but came across this boat:

Mariah Great Family Boat 1995 Good for Weekend Boating! - asking $7,000...

The interior is in good shape for it's age with exception to the sun deck, which is starting to crack a bit.

The exterior is showing it's age. It looks like the owner let it beat up on a dock and it will need a new rub rail, some fiberglass repair, has some scratches to the gel coat and will need a good polish and wax.

The outdrive and motor look and sound great. It's a 5.7L Merc with Bravo III. Also includes the Chariot trailer in good shape.

Adding some additional pictures.

Thanks!
Adam

The concerns I would have is if they didn't care enough about the boat to not let it beat it'self up on the dock then what else did they not care enough about to maintain etc. You're gonna have to look at the floor and transom very close to make sure there's no rot. The boat is probably worth 10,000 in perfect condition with very low hours. So deduct the cost of interior and fiberglass repairs from that along with some deduction for hours of use when considering the price.

It looks like I can pick it up for about $6k... Headed for final inspection soon. Thanks for the feedback.
