Water dam in the hull?

I will see if I can get a picture to attach but I have a build up of fiberglass at the bottom of the hull right infront of the bilge pump and it keeps water in the boat that I cannot get to drain. Do any other models have this and what do you do about it? It can't be good to let the water just sit in there!:shakehead:

I have the same thing on the Diablo jet.
My bilge mounts on top of it on the Diablo.
I just use a towel to soak up the water that is left. Could be a pain in a larger boat.
Surprised they didn't have a small pipe running thru the block.
Here is the best pic I got of it when I was doing my engine replace.

I have thought about gluing some kind of a tube there to go around it but then the tube would just plug up and become useless!
