Smart Tabs SX Question (60 vs 80)
 

I have searched the boards for the answer to this as I remember reading it last year, but cannot find it. I have a 1997 209 Talari with the 5.7. I am going to install Smart Tabs this year and remember reading that someone else put on SX9510-80s and found it too stiff so went to SX9510-60s instead on a boat similar to mine. I find the selector app at the Nauticus website to be not the most helpful thing I've ever used...

Those of you with similar boats, which ones do you think would be best? I usually have quite a few passengers if that matters.

I suspect that the extra weight of your 209 will require the 80# actuator arms but hopefully someone with a 20-22' boat will chime in.

I have a 99 Shabah 202 with the 5 7 I bought the 60 pound actuators and I have them on the lightest setting and still think they may be a bit too intrusive. My $0.02 says start with the 60 pound actuators. I am very happy with my smart tabs it's one of the best and cheapest upgrades I've done to the boat.
