Hello WetWilley,
I see you went to San Pablo Dam for your first spring run. ( We live near each other ) What big lake did you go to Berryessa? I've been to the delta twice this spring, my Shabah Z212 sounds like yours. Sputtered some at first then nails after that. 55-57 mph @4700-4800rpm with a 4 blade 20 pitch Alium. I was happy with that. I also run a 3 blade SS 19 when I travel to lakes around N. Cal. We need to get together some day, we live to close not to. Hope all is well Ron ( Calakeboater ) |

Re: Bravo III skeg repair finally finished
Hi Calakeboater, that would be great and looking at the map, it looks like we have three more members in the area, one in Hercules, Fairfield and one up in Folsom (Richardfra with a 272 BR). Maybe we can all get together for some summer fun. We did Berryessa for a day trips and overnight camping . I prefer Berryessa because it's close and it's the third or forth largest lake in NorCal. Only problem is most on the marinas, especially the ones with camp sites were taken over by a new vendor and BLM implemented lots of changes, so for now, most of them are closed. As of last year, only Markley, Pleasure Cove and Steele Park were open. What lakes do you prefer? WetWilly |
Re: Bravo III skeg repair finally finished
Hi Irace82,
Haven't finished the seat back mesh pocket project yet, as a mater of fact, I had to put on the back burner for awhile. So now, I'm slowly getting around to finishing the new seat rails (they hold the sides of the mesh to the seat back) as the originals were either cracked or broken. Next on the list is to remove the worn out elastic at the top of the mesh and sew in a new one (had new elastic but I seem to have lost it) then re-assemble it all back together. Here's a picture of the original rails and the new ones I'm working on. Geez, it's been a long time since I've played with Plexiglas! Well, a few more holes, corners rounded, sides polished and they're ready to go back on! http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h2...s/PICT0807.jpg Hopefully, I'll get it done soon and I will post the process with pictures.
