In strong current or wind I approach running upstream or upwind and then turn into the trailer at the last second. No time for anything to go wrong.

hhahahah!! funny i ran into this thread.. i embarrassed myself last night around midnight after the big fireworks show we have here in town.....there were about 15 boats behind me.....most of them and there passengers are hammered. they have the local police there keeping order ( and making sure you should be towing a boat home) ive been boating for 3 years but when its dark and im in a new truck its a different dynamic. what was worse is the river rescue was leaving the same time i was and they were having issues too loading.....don't worry about it!!! it happens
