Default Help.

I have a 1998 jubilee with a 5.7 murcruser and a bravo 3 out drive I am losing gear lube like its my job. Dose anyone know where that line goes???

    I assume its not draining into the bilge or all over the outdrive? If not then it sounds like you have a failed prop shaft seal.

    The guys with Bravo 3's here can likely tell you exactly how the gear oil line is routed from the reservoir on the engine thru the bell housing and into the drive itself.

    there is a hose that runs from the canister to the drive. as it exits the transom outside, there is a connection that hooks to the upper unit. most likely there is where the gear lube is draining.

    Where is oil, in bilge or out side boat? If out side do you have any fishing line in your prop seal?? May have to do a pressure test to see where its leaking.if in boat, is it the res. Leaking evrey boat I've owned I had to replace that tank

    Normally if its leaking out side the boat water will get in outdrive and boil then blow the cap off the res. And make a mess
