1995 Talari 180 Wiring/Fuses
 

Does anyone know where to find the recommended fuses for this boat? I bought the boat last Winter with no working radio. While attempting to install the radio, I found numerous other disconnected (or never connected) wires. When I got into the fuse panel, I found blown fuses that I cannot determine the size as they are corroded and rusty. I'm going to clean all the oxidation off of the fuse panel and replace old with new fuses but am concerned about proper sizing. Additionally, I have checked the Manuals and Supplements section but cannot find anything on this particular model. Any thoughts?

Mark: Back to where you were looking, Pg 4, second from bottom. There are no 'model specific' wiring diagrams. Use the '96 diagram as it will be nearly identical.

Fuse Box Layout for Shabah 180
Top row, left-to-right

Docking Lights (unused): 15A
Nav and Anch Lights: 5A
Blower: 10A
Bilge: 5A
Courtesy Lights: 5A
Horn, Stereo, Acc. Plugs: 10A

Bottom Row, left-to-right

Unknown: 10A

Main (in-line on battery): 35A

Tilt (in-line on tilt motor): 20A

3 x 5A, 3 x 10A, 1 x 15A, 1 x 20A, 1 x 35A

You are a wealth of information and I really appreciate it. I had downloaded the 1996 manual and saved it earlier. I was just concerned that I'd burn up something. I must say that I found a blown 20A in the pile. The prior owner obviously took some shortcuts and serious risk....... Anyway, I'm gonna love on it and hope to transition it to nearly new condition.

Sorry to add to an old post. I have just got a 2001 192 shabah does anyone know if the fuse layout is the same as mentioned above?
