Re: Tabs Added
The hardest part for me was convincing myself is was a good idea to drill a bunch of holes in a perfectly good boat. :D

Re: Tabs Added
Well, went out to the lake this afternoon ready to test the trim tabs...didn't make it 100 yards!!
This is what happens when Buoys are incorrectly placed and we weren't the only ones, there were 3 other boats that this happened to today!! http://img802.imageshack.us/img802/4...3060900200.jpg I know I was going to get a new prop anyways, but not this way!!:shakehead: Broke a piece off the skeg too..sheesh, what a day...now I have to figure a way to reinforce/replace the skeg...great!! The 4 of us have collated a complaint to the DNR. We'll let you know what happens! |
Re: Tabs Added
Do you know about the Navionics app for android & Iphone? This is a great saver & you can mark that spot for other users.

That prop looks like the props I've seen coming of the lake I frequent. The level is dropping like crazy. Huge stumps and islands are quickly being revealed. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk 2 |
Re: Tabs Added
I got the app last week but have yet to really dig into it to learn all the features.

Re: Tabs Added
What tweaks me more is that was done at the end of the inlet as it goes into the lake itself...Whole inlet is only 30 feet wide and I was as far right of those buoys as one could get without driving up into the first home owners garden. I think I'm going to find a different lake...plus I have to get a prop asap as me and the missus are going away for a few days to Crystal Lake in Northern Michigan which is 3 miles wide by 9 miles long and there is no way in heck I'm going there without the boat!
In reality, is there any recourse by complaining to the DNR? |
