Wanted walk through screen turn buttons
As above really,
Noticed that i'd broken the lower of my 2 walk through screen turn buttons! it's such a simple and probably cheap item but i'm so paranoid about my screen (for good reason) that i'm concerned about using the boat without securing the screen some how. I've looked over here (UK) with no luck so far. Are they available over there? if so where? link please...:) i'd be happy to buy 1 or 100 of them many thanks Andy |
Re: Wanted walk through screen turn buttons
I've got a couple of spare ones in my boat but....its docked 4 hrs away & i wont get to it until July. :(
In the meantime....here's a source: Iboats.com |

Re: Wanted walk through screen turn buttons
West Marine has them, too. If you run into a problem, Andy, I'm sure we can somehow get you a pair.

Re: Wanted walk through screen turn buttons
Andy, do you have any Camper/Caravan stores (is that what they call them over that way? I'm thinking that is what they called them on one of the BBC TopGear episodes I watched) If so the turn pieces on our center walk through are commonly used in the RV industry (usually on shower doors, windows, screen doors etc. on various models of travel trailer/camper/pop up tent style campers/caravan - etc.
Good luck! |
Re: Wanted walk through screen turn buttons
well the cheapest I've managed to source over your side of the pond came in at just over $40 for 2 turn buttons :eek_animated: (with shipping)
not for one second saying there not worth it but I think i'l have a check down the RV/Caravan route first  |
Re: Wanted walk through screen turn buttons
IIRC, the ones I bought at West Marine were Taylor Made, just like much of the other window-/glass-related stuff on (older?) Mariah boats.
