Re: Open Bimini
I don't use the trailer, the boat is on a lift at my dock. The previous owner delivered it with the top up and in the zippered bag, and it didn't get any damage. But I would not recommend that if you are driving more than a couple miles. If I trail it someday, I will take off the top.
The issue for me is that I always use the custom-fitted full cover and that would not fit with the Bimini on the boat at all when I got it. The cover was simply too tight (which I like). Rather than having to take it off the boat every time I put on the cover, I moved it from atop the rails to the sides like yours. I think mine is a couple inches farther out. |
Re: Open Bimini
I bought mine off eBay from a seller named Boatarama. Don't know of they still exist, but it was only $128 including the rear supports.

Re: Open Bimini
I bought from national tops a 36" for mine. Originally got a 54 and it was too tall. The 36 has a solid strut rear. Mounts in factory brackets on my 95 272z

I'm assuming you have yours mounted on the glass? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: Open Bimini
Yes it's mounted on mounts that were already on the chrome around the glass. That's why 54 inch was way way too tall.

Yeah 54" is really tall, I think mine sits high to and I have it mounted on the base not on the glass. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
