1994 Z212 bunks trailer

Can somebody with a 94 Z212 boat tell me how many bunks have on the trailer? I am in progress of converting my roller trailer to bunks and I want to be sure if I 2 bunks 2x6 8' to 10' long will be enough or should I add 2 more (short) at the back. The brochure says the boat is 2700# (I'm not sure if it is with the engine or without Merc V6 4.3 LX)
Maybe a picture will help also.

Even my little Diablo has 4 bunks. Two 5ft on outside , and two 8ft on inside. It weights around 2400 fueled and a few things on board.
I'd definately go with a 4 bunk setup. :)

Thanks ColoradoDiablo, I was browsing through Photo Gallery but I couldn't see pictures with the trailers (without the boat). Now makes sense what I had in mind...

Will be Ok with the longer onse to be 2x6 and the short ones 2x4? I can use 2x6 for all of them.

Whatever your heart desires and wallet can afford. ;) Most of the ones i see though are carpeted 2x4's to reduce the drag when sliding the boat off and on the trailer.

And btw...you can always go a little longer as long as you provide the necessary support brackets.

my "new" trailer that I am putting my z210 on has four. the inside ones are 12ft long and the outside ones are 9ft long. I am replacing the boards tonight though. I bought marine bunk carpet at Academy Sports, and am using pressure treated 2x6 cut to fit. Hope this helps.

I already have the carpet for 2x6 (2 rolles 11"x144"). So I'll go with 2 bunks 10' long or so for the inside ones and some 5' to 6' outsides 2x4.

jsewall82, what are the dimensions between your bunks? and the brackets support (cross members)
How far back from the rear axle are the bunks end?

Re: 1994 Z212 bunks trailer

I will measure them tonight when I get home (weather permitting of course) and let you know. I will measure out as much as I can and give you a schematic as best I can. I bought my boat with a rusted through single axle MTI trailer. I cant wait to get it on this one.
