Default Shabah 180 specs

Is the 1996 Shabah 180 better off with a 4.3 or the 3.0. I'm looking at buying a 1996 180 with the 3.0 in it. Does anyone know what the top speed on this boat is? TIA, Jim

If you can get one with the 4.3L, I think you might be happier. Especially if you take more than 3 people on board at any time, or do any sort of water sports (tubing, skiing, wakeboarding, etc).

The 3.0L is a great engine, but since you're asking about it's top speed, I'm assuming speed is somewhat important to you, so go with the 4.3L

I have the 4.3L in mine an it will run mid 40's with 4 people. We do a lot of skiing and I couldn't imagine even trying it with a 3.0L
