I think I have well over 200.00 wrapped up in my original cover. By the time I paid to have it professionally cleaned, vents installed, a hole patched, new straps installed.. and waterproofed (which they did an awful job)... then the 3 bottles of 303 I purchased myself to waterproof.. i'm easily over 200.00. I should have just bought one of these covers instead. I can't wait to see pictures of the fit and finish.

We've got an "exact fit" Sharkskin trailering cover for our 182 Barchetta. It is nowhere even remotely close in fit and quality to the Sunbrella mooring covers we had made. If I had it to do all over again, I'd pay the extra $500 or so and have a proper trailering cover made. That Sharkskin cover has been a roaring PITA. The material does not breath, so, even with triple ventilation, it still gets black mold on the inside--and so does the boat, where it touches it. But worse: It stretches. (That's how they get it to "exact fit" w/o actually designing it to the boat.) When it gets any snow load, or rain load that doesn't roll right off, it sags. Which collects more of whatver it is. Which results in more sag. Which...

I would not do it again.
