Looks pretty damn good to me Andy
That looks like it would last a good amount of years if you weren't in saltwater.

Looks very good. Due you have ant before pixs? I've got bubbles lifting my paint and its looks like it would need some sort of filler to make it smooth again. I've never worked on this material before. Is it pot metal or aluminum ? I've got a green undercoat showing thru in streaks now.

The top picture is the before one, if you click on the yellow bar at the top of the pic it'll give you a bigger picture.
corrosion and missing paint on ram and side of leg, and a generaly shabby look to the whole unit!
TBH I only rubbed off the corrosion and flaky paint then keyed up the old paint with some wet-n-dry before painting. Like I say this is just a temp job until I strip the leg next winter.

The salty stuff does make a mess of things if you don't keep on top of maintenance.
There are some shocking sights around of some really nice boats that have gone to ruin through neglect in these parts.
Maybe i'l start a rouges gallery, but it may just prove to upsetting in some cases!
Must be wonderful to have clean fresh water to play in. takes me a couple of hours to clean and flush the boat after use,
    and that's after every use......

Don't know, haven't finished making them yet!
Just put the tail pipes on for show
When I get them done i'l do a thread on it.
At the moment im working out if doing the tail pipes with a water jacket will help me with fitting a small baffle to retain some back pressure for the 4.3L
The steel work isn't the hard bit it's working out how to divert the water and gas separately. Don’t want to cook the leg.
I may just end up with leaving the water going down the leg and only diverting the exhaust gases.

There from an auto tuners called Ripspeed but they are from there stainless range.
They have a 2” (50mm) clamp inside which is the size of the exit pipe I will be using on my exhaust project.
As well as the butterfly inside the diverter the exit pipe will have a flapper on it, but it will be hidden inside the tip.
But I’m giving to much away now and so far I’m already on about “Plan D” so this will probably all change by the time it’s finished.
