Looking to purchase a 1996 z210 but need specs

I am looking to purchase a 1996 z210 this week but I need to know the specs from the factory. I need to know the LOA, beam, weight, fuel capacity, deadrise, draft up and down and bridge clearance. I have two different locations that I take my family to and one is a river so I need to know the info before I purchase to make sure I can use it there.

Thank you

Welcome aboard. The '96 Z210 has a 100" beam, is 20' 9" oal, weighs approx 2850lbs, fuel tank capacity is 40 US gals, has a 27" draft with the drive down and 12" draft with the drive up and a 19" deadrise per the brochure. I have no idea what the bridge clearance is but i suspect it will have to be an awfully low bridge for that to be an issue.

Thank you for the info. I found one and they are wanting 5500 for the boat. It comes with an MTI single axle trailer. The interior is kinda ruff, they started to recover the seats but did a sloppy job and didn't use a color that was complimentary to the interior. They changed it from a cream color to a chocolate brown and only did the sunpad, bow bottom cushions, bench bottom cushion and one captain chair. I was trying to find if the boat had a gelcoat floor but they have it covered with carpet so i cant tell.

Sounds like they are covering up a few horror stories..... might be best to look for one in better condition.

well come to find out i have been speaking with the wife. she does not know much about the boat and i am suppose to be meeting the husband this evening. did the 96 z210 come with carpet stock? trying to get as much info as i can prior to looking at it. they kept the boat outside and uncovered so that is her reason for the seats cracking. they replaced the gimbal bearing and did some other work from a local marine shop, which i am asking to see the papers on. anything else i should consider?

Re: Looking to purchase a 1996 z210 but need specs

Most Mariahs came with carpeting and unfinished fglass flooring underneath. Other things to look for are electrical issues (make sure all electrics/gauges etc work), ensure the trim switch & gauge work (need to remove the outdrive to replace), make sure all of the interior trim pieces are present as they can be difficult to source replacements for, make sure there is no missing or broken glass (damm near impossible to find), service/maintenance records and an 'on the water' test would be in order.

And yes, the hot sun can ruin the vinyl fairly quickly if it hasn't been protected. And putting the vinyl right can be costly if you can't do it yourself.

Well i ended up buying the boat last night. The speedometer does not work and neither does the trim indicator but other then that is seems to be in great shape mechanically. Are there any specific ways to diagnose the issue with the trim indicator? I know that the spedo is operated by the tube that can sometimes get clogged or disconnected. Also, does anyone have a layout of the switch's on the console? Some of the labels have worn off of the switch's and I cant remember what everything is for.

You can test signal to the gauge when using the trim button with a multimeter. This will verfiy if it is your switches(99% of the time) , or the gauge. You should also check all the wiring from the gauge back to the switches for breaks and or shorts.

This will explain the wiring colors and a lot more info on what's involved. :)
