were buying a 94 davanti 241 with a 350 n bravo 3. the boat has 337 hours n is n really good shape. Is there anything i should be aware of or ask. This site has helped me a ton. Or if anyone has pictures or anything of there. ty Tim

hi Tim,

There isn't anything special with the Davanti that you need to watch out for other than the usual stuff like trim pieces, ensuring the electrical items all work and particularly look at the cuddy door as it will be very difficult to replace if broken.

+1 with what mikeyt said. One word of advice, don't buy the boat without doing a water trial first.

If you've got a few hundred extra to spare, you could hire a marine surveyor to go through the boat with a fine-tooth comb and give you a professional opinion. They'll check everything from the moisture levels in the hull, compression in the engine, outdrive, everything mechanical and electrical, and even as far as the bulbs in the lights.

thank you. were buying it from a dealer and am taking my mechanic with for a water test when the weather gets warmer here n chicago, n this will be our second mariah we have a 91 diablo right know we luv the mariahs . ty
