2000 Shabah. Z202? 202?
 

Hello Mariah owners!

New to the club today and hoping I can consult the experts here. I am looking at buying a 2000 Shabah. They have it listed as a 202/Z202. Well, from what I can find, there is a difference between a Z202 and a regular 202. The guy says it's a Z202 but it does not have docking lights, a power helm seat or engine cover. There is no indication on it at all that it is a "Z" 202. I think they have it priced high - $12.5k. NADA has a $2k price differential between the Z202 and regular 202. I know from experience that the local market means more than the NADA price, but with a 2k difference I am hoping to find a way to tell the difference between the models before making an offer. I have always liked these boats and having a chance to buy one is exciting. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

If it doesn't have power seat , windshield wiper, stainless windshield supports , just to mention a few, then it isn't a Z.

It does have the windshield supports but none of the other stuff you mention. Thanks for the help. Now I'll see if Ican get a fair price.

As I found recently it is possible to have a lot if the Z options on a non Z boat. You might ask a favor of a fellow MOC member ShabahZ250 an shoot him a PM with the boats hull#. I had the same question as you an he found the answer.
