I didn't notice that at first glance. It shows from both front and back angles, so I don't think it's lighting. I agree... not a good thing.

Looks like a Texas boat that lived its life outdoors uncovered. The vinyl is dry, dash is ready to crack and steering padding is almost turned to dust. Stereo is gone.

That boat has a lot of upholstery in it.

Knowing what Ive done in the last 3 years, I can see $5-7,000 worth of repairs,then another $3-5,000 in upgrades (carpet, bimini, trailer tires, re-bunk, thorough hull cleaning/polish and reseal) even the waavy gel coat. Thats assuming the motor and outdrive are in good repair and need nothing immediately other then a tune up and water pump rebuild.

it was the shaddow from the rub rail that first caught my eye,
then the damage at the water line.
there's usualy a good reason why these boats get stripped out. shame

yikes...read the ad. motor is bad $2500+ parts and labor. No motor, no way of telling the condition of the drive.

I think that boat has a lot of problems, and that side looks to be a bad repair. The side is missing decals in that area like mine.

Dont get me wrong, the price is near the thought of repair. But to me there are too many unknowns. The seller states he owns another as well, probably why some of the parts are missing or the worst ones are installed on the one he's selling.

I just found this thread, I might of wished I would of found this thread earlier because I bought this boat for, 3000, and now I ran into a bunch of problems when I got it home which was about a week after i bought it, cause I was out of town I pulled the motor and somebody had taken the motor out and put a 80 - 84 305 motor in it and just set it in there didn't hook nothing up, so now I'm trying to find out if it was fuel injected 5.7xl or what the out drive says 5.7xl bravo 3 on it, can anybody help, thanks
