not much call for that over here! you'll be hard pressed trying to find someone brave/stooopid enuff to be towed up and down the solent :shakehead:

i'm going to stick a 21x 14.1/4. 3 blade prop on and see how that goes
lets just hope i don't get to much bow lift :rolling_laugh:

That's basically what a 4 blade prop is for: lots of bite/grip for pulling tubes/wakeboarders/skiers etc and for towing Bayliners back to shore.

well, strange day today!
Got the quote for the new graphic's. I was happy with the price so went and removed the old graphic's from the boat.
With a cup of coffee in hand i stood back to admire my work when the doubt set in!
not sure i want to clutter up the side of the boat now as i quite like the look of it in just white...

still think it needs the shields and mariah logo, but not sure it needs anything else.
i'm going to sleep on it then remove the rest of the black line tomorrow.

also unpacked the canvas package and tryed that out for size. i dont think it has ever been out.

Well not much progress at the moment as the weather is being typically British! :shakehead:
Just a few small touches. Changed the louver vents on the back today,
I find it strange that the 2001 180 diablo is the only boat in the range to not have stainless ones???
I understand that my boat was produced in a time when the factory was having troubles, and was made in an attempt to boost sales in the lower end of the market,
but for the sake of some small touches like shiny vent covers and some bow rails this boat would have the feeling of being a finished product!
It puts me in a strange position where I know I have an unmolested and original boat,
but I feel that it needs finishing off where the factory fell short on a few items! I’m not a purist but I fully appreciate that what I have must be quite a rare boat. Especially over here!
What are the thoughts on changing things around over the pond?
