Way more ponies needed than 240.
You gotta have a lot of power/torque for that much weight plus a skier on top of that.
Add lots of money and get something in the 300-350 HP range.

Curious if the change in weights is due to having to provide the weight of the vessel ready to go. As in full of fuel, oil etc. I recall a very similar change to the way motorcycles were weighed around the early 2000's....
50 gal or fuel at 6 lbs a gallon is 300lbs plus oil weight. Who knows if the batteries are added to the equation as well.

I have a z202 with a 5.0 and with 6 to 7 people can pull skiers all day im talking 250 lb skiers it has a 4 blade 19 pitch ss prop i think it will do fine for you as well and i wouldnt change a thing on mine but its just my opinion :wink_thumbup:
