Trailer I.D. Number
My Insurance company called and they want the serial number for the trailer. The problem I have is the sticker on the frame has nothing on it, is there anyone else with the same thing or is there another place the number may be that I haven't looked? I bought the boat used and I think I have the original sales papers in the boat I am going to check them tomorrow when it stops raining.

Re: Trailer I.D. Number
It should be on your sales receipt. If not , depending on the state you might have to file it as a "homebuilt" trailer to get a new serial #.
Did you check the bottom frame rails and bottom of the tongue good? Larry |
Re: Trailer I.D. Number
I did look everywhere I could think of, I talked with a buddy of mine that also has a Mariah and he said he doesn't have anything on the I.D. tag either. Thanks for the help I will continue to investigate. I will post if I find anything out that will help anyone in the future.

Re: Trailer I.D. Number
What trailer do you have? It is a Prestige , Heritage , Chariot(these were all used by Mariah) , or another brand ? My Heritage trailer that came with my Diablo is clearly stamped , not just a decal.
Very strange indeed. Larry |
Re: Trailer I.D. Number
The power of paper work!!!! The trailer number was on the sales receipt so I am good there. The moral of the story that I can pass on is how important paper work is, keep all of your paper work no matter how small you think it is. Records is your history of how well someone took care of something. Don't be afraid of something with records that just says to me someone kept there machine running in top condition. Thanks everyone for your posts.:rolling_laugh:

Re: Trailer I.D. Number
I'd stamp the number on the tongue if it was me.
Glad it worked out for you! :) Larry |
Re: Trailer I.D. Number
I have a Venture trailer with the decal with all the info on it so I took a picture of it. Glad I did because now the info on it is completely faded.
