repairing cabin sliding door on z308
hi
i just purchased my 2000 z 308 the door is all jamed up how do these come apart and I think I should replace the ball bearings that go in the track any tips? also it has twin 5.7 bravo 3 with 2.20 gears 24p props will be boating at 0-1500 ft is this set up right? |

I am not familiar with the cabin door on your Mariah , but there are quite a few owners of the larger 275 , 302 , etc boats. Hang in there , they will chime in I'm sure:) BTW Welcome to MOC!! Larry |
I took my sliding door off on my 275, but I am not sure if you have the same door. There are guide plates on the inside bottom. Unscrew them. And if I remember right, there is a stopper plate on the top of the door that needs to be removed. Mine didn't have bearings in it. It was just an aluminum channel and the door slides on the inside of it. I cleaned it out and sprayed it down with marine silicone spray and it slides like a breeze now.

I took it apart today looks like I am missing the bottom plates I did find a plasic guild that the metal bracket sits on in the track anyone know where I can purchase new hardware?
