Mid Cabin differences - Z275 vs. Z302
Hi all,
Can anyone tell me if there are significant differences (besides size/weight :) ) between the Z275 and Z302 mid-cabin open bow? I'm looking at both, watching all of them for sale, hoping the timing is right in the next year to move up. For example, I've seen some with "Mariah" stitched into the rear seatbacks, it appears the sink is in a different location. Do they both include porta-potty? I've got an Excursion V10, can I tow either without problems? I'd love to find a Z245stc for sale also, but they appear to be very rare (unless one of you guys on this list want to sell yours?). Thanks, ~bluelakeside |

Re: Mid Cabin differences - Z275 vs. Z302
just glancing at the couple of 2000 275's, here is what I see:
Rear seating appears to be larger with the seats that wrap all the way around the pedastal seats. Dash is different No off shore controls Bow seating appears to be shorter in length Cuddy couch is smaller and less storage. |
I just so happen to own a 2001 Z275 and my tow vehicle is a 2000 Ford Excursion V-10. As far as towing goes, no problem at all. My truck has 198,000 miles on her and pulls very easy. I have never seen a 302 in person, but I think most of the 3' difference is in the cabin like you said. Yes, mine did come with a porta potty that stores under the step in the cabin. That 3' difference though will cost you ALOT more money. The reasoning is I think that there are a few more 275's than 302's out there, but not sure. I would have much preferred the 302 with the larger cabin! Either way, they are both great boats in my book!

Re: Mid Cabin differences - Z275 vs. Z302
Just purchased a 1999 Z302 with New 502 Mag MPI and New Bravo 3. I've been doing some work on it while we are flooded here in oklahoma and Most things I can figure out...EXCEPT..... on the Starboard side deck rail..... on the bolt closest to mid boat....... its behind the cabin walls and i've taken everything apart I still can't seem to get to it.... Whats the trick?
