Fuel Tank in 94 Z220 Talari

I am having issues with my fuel guage. It reads empty all the time. I just topped the boat off so I know it is full. When I turn the key on the guage goes from completely bottomed out to the "E" mark so I do know that there is voltage to the guage. I suspect the sending unit. I couldnt find a service hatch. Just wondering what I have to do to access it.

Thanks in advance

I'm not familiar with your particular boat but if you follow the fuel filler line down to where it goes under the floor you should find the spot where you can access the sender unit. My guess is there is a flap of carpet covering it.

On my '94 Z211 Shabah, I can tilt the back seat forward and there are two aluminum trim strips holding a carpet flap and access door down just in front of the engine in the center of the floor. I can remove the trim strips and there is a hinged hatch in the floor right there for access to the sender and pickup in the top rear of the tank.

hope this helps.
