Problems fueling
My fuel fill is located on the stern right above the swim platform and it appears to be fairly flat to the fuel tank. The only way to fuel the boat is to barley have fuel pumping into the boat (it takes forever to put $100 in it) and it still will run out on the platform and cut the handle off and you have to start all over to see how slow you can make the pump run. I have had this problem on the trailer in the water and I keep my boat hi and dry so I had them take the forklift and pitch it down some and it helped a little and I mean a little. And yes the vent is clear! Other than raising the fule fill higher and all the gel coat repairs that will stick out like a sore thumb had anyone had this problem and found a remedy?

You can see the fuel fill in the attached photo.

Re: Problems fueling
my 272 location is very similar. Never been an issue, but i always stay right by the fill the entire time as the nozzle is a bit sideways and I fear it will slip out.

Re: Problems fueling
that seems kinda low. mine is @ the same level as the transom light and dont usually have a problem. seems like some pumps are worse then others. has this been a recurring issue or is it new?

Hey Mike ,
You have probably checked but , are you sure that the fill hose isn't flattened out somewhere along the way. Just a thought Larry |
