Smart tabs for diablo

I've done a search on here and only found a few threads on smart tabs for the diablos and most werent very informative at all. My diablo has the 4.3 in and is stern heavy to the point that my rope attachment points are to low and drag through the wake with tubers. My kids are young and the boat was bought almost strickly for tubing.

Ive only had my boat for a short time and have seen it out of the water even less. I was swimming behind it the other day and felt the transom area. It doesnt even seem smart tabs will fit on the shape of the transom. I watched an install vid by nauticus saying that the upper shock attachment point cant be upright or vertical to the tab.

SOOO does anyone have any pics of tabs installed? what do I need to buy stainless or do the plastic ones work? Others that have the smart tabs which would you recommend 60lb or 80lb?

The thing is i dont want to completely screw the wake up as it makes a pretty good sized one right now. Certainly willing to sacrafice some of the wake for the smart tabs. I was thinking of getting the 80lb and running them on the lighter settings, but could use 60 and run them a bit heavier and i can lighter on those to get a better wake.

SOrry guys long-winded post but really want some tabs

They will fit fine. They fit close to the drive , but perform as they should. 60lbers should work for ya fine I believe.
Do a search...there are tons of talk and pics on the subject. :)

Sorry to read that the numerous threads on this subject weren't "informative at all". When i did a search i found 21 threads discussing Diablo's and Smart Tabs & this one in particular covering an installation on a Diablo. There are also a lot of threads discussing Smart Tabs and this one in particular should cover just about every application.

Your '93 hull isn't unique & Smart Tabs should install fairly easily. Your boat will work just fine with the Smart Tabs SX and 60lb actuators. If you can operate a tape measure/drill/screwdriver its about a 30-60 minute DIY installation process and the Nauticus site provides excellent instructions and support if needed. Here's a photo of my installation on my 180 Shabah.

sorry mikey
I maybe did something wrong in the search? I retrieved 5 threads that had really only touched on them. I apologize to beat a dead horse subject. I belong to dodgetalk forum as well and the lift questions are constantly popping up so i know how that must be for a memeber for a long time.
