Default 199 jubilee

Any other Jubilee owners out there? I love my 204 but having issues with it losing power for no reason. I found some water in the tank after a transome reseal was done. I treated it but now Im losing power if I stop the boat to swim, it loses power to about 8 mph running full throttle. I also need to find a replacement for my gas cap thet no longer fastens. Any suggestions ( 5.7 ltr carb 250 hp )
Thanks ,
Kevin ( Coltsfan) McGuire

Not sure what you are asking. Your boat will only run max 8mph?

No it loses power after running wide open. When you take off again , it will only run 8mph, like its totally lost power. If you shut it down and let it sit for a while it acts fine again. I treated the tank and did plugs, wires, rotor button, and distributor cap as well as fuel filter. Im lost

It sounds like a vapor locking issue. I'm not good on carborators but back in the day we used to put wooden clothpins on the metal fuel line. They acted as heat exchangers for the fuel. Sorry not much help.
