went to the general user manual and it had nothing is there a wiring diagram for the 1998 214 jubilee ?

Not quite sure what you are referring to by "General User Manual" (unless you mean an owners manual & they are somewhat useless) but if you look in the forum entitled Original Manuals & Supplements and go to page 4 there is a link to Mariah Wiring Harness diagrams. Click on it and pick your model year. NOTE that these diagrams are NOT model specific.
