Your right ShabahZ250! Sorry, for the misinformation, it's was not the Z308 engine bay, but I believe this is: http://boats.iboats.com/cgi-bin/mari...&img=3&count=1
From the looks of it, I now understand what Wolfgang meant about the access issue. Seems like this is only half of the bay with the generator he was talking about earlier in the foreground. The front access is not too bad but the rear WetWilly |
Hi:D
That is exactly my problem!:wink_thumbup: Does anybody know if itīs possible to build a lifting "hood" by cutting part of backside seats? I know we have to look for stability, but itīs impossible to work on the engines now. Greetings Wolfgang |
All i have to say is ... :eek_animated:
Wolfgang, if that was my boat, I would not be doing any kind of cutting or modifying of the hull or interior trim (seat) parts. Cherish it, dont hack it. :) As much as you would like to service it yourself, you might just be best if you let a professional work on the engine servicing. I work for a GM (General Motors) car dealership and I have seen some really strange postions the tech's have gotten themselves into when working on trucks / cars etc. But after seeing where that engine is located, im glad I have the "doghouse" box around my engine... :wink_thumbup: |
