Can a dash be repainted?

Hi Everyone,
Well, summer is here in upsate NY, and I'm glad to be in touch wil all of you fine people, and am very thankful that I have learned so many helpful things on this forum!

Spent 4 hours of my life waxing the boat yesterday, so thanks to all of you who recommended products to do the trick...it looks great out in the water and when we were stopped at the state launch in Skaneateles yesterday on a "milfoil" check, I received compliments from the man in charge for the cleanlines and beautifully "hitchiker-free" bottom !

Was finally able to purchase a beautiful Sunbrella custom cover from a nice company in Cayuga, NY, so now I can sell the original convertible cover, which leads me to my question:

Since the boat was out on the lake for several summers, with the dash exposed to the sunlight through the windshield - prior to our owning it, and 1 summer of our owning, it really is bleached out and looking yucky...now that our new cover blocks everything, I'd like to have the dash repainted or something, to get back to the original, uniform, deep green color.

I think that someone posted about this a while ago, but I couldn't find the original thread.

Any suggestions / ideas / solutions?

Thanks in advance for your response!
Jan
