    I spoke to the mechanic and he believes it will be under 5K. This price does include them having gone through the lower unit because everyone thought that it was a cone clutch issue. I consider myself mechanically inclined but this seemed over my head and I did not have the time nor a trailer. I am chalking this up to my bad purchase and a very expensive lesson learned. Hey when it is done in two weeks I will have a new motor and be ready to go.

    I love the boat and the way it handles the waves and the thru hull exhaust sounds great.

    When I get it back I will load up some pics and show it off.

    Its good to know your limits, and just make it happen for you and your family to enjoy the summer on it! And now as you keep up on the maintenance, you will be confident in the reliability of a great boat.
