Thermostat

I have a 222 Shabah with a 350 250hp Mercruiser. It has a 175 thermostat. Is this the correct thermostat or should it have a 145? Thanks for your help.

most marine motor are designed to run between 160-170.

FYI, I have a 350 with carb and I have a 175 T-stat in it...

However, thats's mine.....

I believe it should be a 175.....
