Barchetta or Shabah?
 

My friend just picked up a '94 Z272.

The graphics are off the boat and I'm trying to figure out if it's a Barchetta or Shabah?

Anybody know the difference in a Z272?

Hi Paul,

According to the '94 brochure, there was only a Talari 270 (bowrider) and a Davanti 275 (cuddy) in that size range. I'd suggest getting the hull ID from your friend & send it to Chris (ShabahZ250). If it's a '94 or earlier, he can give you the build details.

I had looked at the brochures before I asked the question, but it didn't help. (I provided several of the brochures that are on this website, btw).:)

Looks like the 27 footer was still on the drawing board in the 94 brochure. I then looked at the 1995 brochure and they had the 272 in the Davanti and Barchetta.

There are pictures of 1994 Z272 Shabahs in the member's gallery as well as Barchettas. Looking at the photos, I'm leaning toward Shabah for this boat.
