Default Hesitates or lags on take off sometimes.

I am not sure how explain what the boat does. It runs fine most the time but if I am doing a lot of stops and starts it will hesitaite and for lack of batter word bog down then go. It only does it once on the water most the day and say I am trying to get a new person to learn to ski or wakebaord and have to keep going back and getting them and starting over many times. I put it into drive and then when I go to throttle up it will act kind of like its flooding then go like normal. The more I go around the worse it get but it never gets real bad. At worse its like a 2 second lag between me giving it gas and it going. You can feel and hear that engine is actually bogging down. The plugs look good and the timing is good. It has plenty of fuel in the tank. Any ideas?

I assume your 4.3 is carburated, if so it sound to me like a classic accelerator pump problem on your carb. Try taking off your air cleaner and looking down the carb while actuating the throttle. You should see a spray of fuel go into each bore as you pump the throttle. If you don't see the spray of fuel then you probably need a carb rebuild.
