Re: Looking at a 94 Shabah Z212...worth it?
Sounds like it's propped perfectly. Brovo III's come with 3 different gear ratios available so comparing pitch to someone elses would require knowing which ratios each outdrive had. Mine has 24's on it, and I havn't had enough smooth water to test top end yet without my wiffe yelling SLOW DOWN ! lol. And comparing the pitch of the props on a Bravo III to the single prop on an Alpha or Bravo I for that matter is pointless. Sounds like you got a great buy.

Spent the weekend on the boat. It is an absolute beast! I've never driven a Bravo 3 before- amazing difference, both in launch and handling If I hadn't known the price and I took this boat for a ride, I'd offer $12k. Anyone looking at a Shabah Z212- SNAP IT UP! They are the best of everything at 21 feet. Convenience, Power, luxury, appearance, quality, design, etc...etc...
Never knew about Mariah until a month ago...just phenomenal boats... http://us.mg205.mail.yahoo.com/ya/do...Inbox&inline=1 |

Re: Looking at a 94 Shabah Z212...worth it?
I too would like to see pics. What's the difference between the 211 and 212? I just had my Z211 with 5.7 and Bravo3 out the second time yesterday and the more I get used to it the more I like it. ... Except for it's lack of a place to store the anchor conveniently.

Here are some pics, guys. I'll post more as I take them. I was by myself at the time.
Not sure about the 211 vs. 212. There is plenty of available storage on the 212...I literally have NO complaints other than the stereo bezel breaking, but I got an aluminum one from Mike Eftink for $150 (well worth it). I had some fun with a few Seadoos- I set captains choice to quiet to lure a few "victims" We raced, and when I passed them not but a few seconds in, I opened up the thru-hull on 'em- It was blissful  I'll get a video up in a few weeks when I get back to the lake. Great looking boat! I guess the 211's are closed bow and 212's open. Mine doesn't even have a glove box.
