Any knowlege here about using diesel engine for replacment? z302 have to do total engine replacement. looking at options.

They specialize in GM 6.2 & 6.5 diesel marine engines......flywheel bolt pattern is standard GM, like our mercrusiers. They might be able to answer any of your questions.

if you go diesel, youll have to re-gear the out drive as the new motor wont turn 5k
