Here are the before and after pictures of the stringer replacement in my 1993 diablo. We used all pressure treated lumber. Now everything is a true 1 1/2 inches wide. Only thing we couldn't really improve was the rear bulkhead by the motor mount. There isn't much room there, but the fromt bulkhead is stronger than ever now. I am just waiting for the next nice day to install the tank (with new hoses of course) and lay the plywood down. I was going to use just plain pressure treated plywood. Its going to be glassed over anyway. Let me know what you think.
