I have a 94 Mariah 212Z and going to do new upholstry on interior. Can anybody help me with how to get off side panels around top of boat that has upholstry on them. Thank you for any suggestons or help.

I believe they just lift straight upwards. There is an aluminum upholstery clip that the back of the panel drops into. It may be a little stiff but if you take your time they should pop upwards.

They lift off on my 95 as well. I find starting at the stern and works best.

What about a 2001 Z212? Does anyone know how to get the side panels off?

Hey Cory I don't know if yu have the buttons on your side upholstery Mine seemed to have screws behind them that attached it to the side of the boat. On my '00 Z278 anyway

Thanks for the info. As soon as I get a chance I will take a look and let you know. I have a wakeboard tower coming so I need those side panels off I think so I can get the support needed on the back side of the hull.

Hey guys I checked my side panels and there are no buttons just a strap, can't tell how to get panels off. Any suggestions??? No screws behind straps.

my 99 z252 has screws behind the straps. behind each strap is a little slit in the vinyl, somewhere buried beneath the padding and vinyl is a screw.
