Original depth gauge transducer

My in dash depth gauge hardly worked last summer in water less then 6 feet deep. I did find out the transducer (hockey puck) came loose from the floor. So I'm going to try to epoxy it back down this spring, hopefully that will fix the problem tho I've heard it's kind of hit and miss getting it to work again.

My question is, does Lowance make a transom mount transducer that will work on the original in dash gauge in case I need a plan B?

Re: Original depth gauge transducer

For whatever it may be worth, to me it seems like most the members here that have re-epoxied theirs have had good luck. Just be sure to use slow cure epoxy so there won't be any air bubbles.
Good luck. I'm curious to see the responses about your question.
