does anyone know of away to make the big power pedastal seats swifal on a 1999 z250 making them turn around to face the back when parked would be nice option working around the part that makes the seat drop down may be a big problem thanks

Why would you want to do that? The bolster seats have one purpose. To face forward and support the person in them facing forward, that's why they are built and designed the way they are.

i swevelled mine this weekend for the first time. just loosen the clamp below the seat and turn it. i agree as you are parked its nice to turn and face the people you are chatting with

Your seats maybe different from mine. I have electric (fore/aft) with drop down bolsters that sit on box style stainless steel pedestals.

I used to work in the cabinet business. Every once and a while we would get customers who wanted to have secret bookcase doors. This led me to do a lot of research on swiveling systems. They make swivels for bar stools that are two large plates with ball bearings sandwiched inbetween them. It looks to me like you could modify this to mount inbetween the floor and the box for your seat. With that said it also looks like your seat is reclined enough to not have clearance against the side panel of the boat to actually rotate, so you would have to mount the seat inward a bit to get it to work.
