I checked our brochure collection but we dont have a 2001 or 2002 version. Interesting...maybe one of us out there knows something about this model?

Just as i finished entering this i found one or two for sale. Here's the link: http://www.boatquest.com/Power/Maria...D/1/boats.aspx

Here's a 2nd link with photos: http://www.splashvision.com/Video/photo.php?pid=3712 (it's likely the same boat as above).

It might be worth sending the owner an email to see if he has a brochure / manual that he would photocopy for you.

The May 2001 issue of Boating Life did a 'Spotlight On' the Mariah z245stc. Here's the link to their site. http://www.boatinglife.com/article_c...&categoryID=69
You might be able to order a reprint of that article as i suspect the 2001 & 2002 were virtually identical.

About the only thing I know is the Z245 STC'S were one of the last models produced. As far as brochures, we don't have anything above 2000. We're working on it though!! The Manuals were never model specific, after 1997, Mariah issued a "binder" manual which contained the "Rules of the Road" book, some paper checklists and then brochures (not even manuals) for some of the options installed. I guess Mariah was too busy building quality boats to work on a decent manual.

So, it might be pretty tough to find anything related to your boat, as unfortunate as that may be. If you have questions, by all means, ask here. We'll help you figure out whatever you need. We're a friendly bunch here, and always willing to help!

Post some pics if you can!

    z245,

I have the 2001 z275st I will be sending Chris the info I got with my boat soon.
The z245 looks very much like the z275st. I have had some work and replacements done on my boat. If your lower unit says "SmartCraft" on it, I suggest adding the SC1000 System Monitor. Buying it new I am supprised it didn't come with all the info.

I like the sink in the cabin. My z275 doesn’t have that, it’s in the cockpit seating area.
Have any pics of rear seating area? Being in southern IL I have seen most models, but not yours. I would think it is a rarest model (002 hull #).

That's strange, that's not the standard Hull ID format. Last 4 digits should be a letter first, then 3 numbers. Mine is "A000", which shows date of manufacture as January, 2000. Hull ID Info

What are the first 3 letters of your Hull ID? Should be "MAB". Check out the link above and see if that helps you decode some info!
