Buying 94 talari 210

I am very close 99%, to buying a 94 talari 210 for $6400. What should I look for? Any glaring problems with this model, Mercruiser o/d 5.7 ltr alpha one. Runs hot in driveway, Needs new water impeller I gues. Ive always had volvo combos so i Need advice. This model clicks, ckunks into gear. Volvo sx o/d into gear smoother. I am told this is normal. Any advice would be great. Its a very nice boat. Help appreciated

Mercruiser outdrives do tend to clunk going into gear so what you are hearing may very well be normal. Running hot in the driveway may be more of an issue. It may simply need a new impeller installed but if the impeller has disintegrated, you could be searching for pieces throughout your cooling system which left in place may cause another blockage.

We are pulling outdrive today to replace impeller. Volvos are so much easier! The only other issue with boat is fuel gauge and interior lights wont come on. Im hoping there is a blown fuse somewhere. Any other advice? Price seems fair? Your thoughts?

Fuel gauge is likely a loose/broken connection at the sender unit which is located under the carpet just in front of the engine. Not sure where the fuse panel is in your boat. In mine it is under the dash along the port side hull. Price seems reasonable for this time of year assuming the boat is mechanically & cosmetically in good condition.
