99 240 Jubilee Electircal Issues
I've got issues!!! Well, my boat does anyway! :rolling_laugh: If I don't turn the battery switch off when I'm done boating several of the switches stay lit up and the guages keep working. When I do have the battery turned on, most of the swithces do not work. I only have running lights when the docking light switch is turned on, the courtesy lights do not work, the power radio antenna goes up and down until it decides to stop, and the engine usually will not turn off with the key. I have to hit the kill switch below the throttle gearshift. Any thoughts?

Re: 99 240 Jubilee Electircal Issues
Thanks for your understanding! I'm hoping that it is a grounding issue. Someone is supposed to look at it Thursday or Friday but I thought I would check to see if anyone in the club had any ideas or might have experienced something similar.

It almost sounds like some of the grounds were swapped with the positive leads?
Definately need some expert electrical investigator, best of luck! |

Wow, pbashaw, that's some set of symptoms!
Wish I could help you, but w/o being there with a meter, I'd have no idea where to start. Jim |

I'm in Searcy, AR. The boat is at Sugarloaf Marina at Greer's Ferry Lake in North Central Arkansas - about an hour from me.
