Default Mercruiser 5.7L Q's
Where can find engine offerings for the 2000 Shabah 212? I have a 5.7L that appears to be carb'd although my paperwork lists it as an MPI.Was this model offered with both carb and MPI versions of the 5.7L in 2000? I'm trying to find out if I have the stock engine or if there was a swap at some time in the past.

    Yes, the Mercruiser 5.7's were offered with either MPI or Carb. Can you post a pic of the engine?

    I'll see if I can get a decent pic to post. I am pretty sure what I have is a carb. However, my paperwork says it's an MPI. Is there a site where I can check the boat's VIN # to see what it originally came with?

    Does it say MPI or EFI? EFI will be a throttle body injection so will look like a carb.
