Maybe try the MARIAH at an angle too? The black/gray is looking good.
I can understand rajjneef's outlook and I definitely like the original look too but to each his own.

I agree on the logo being too centered. I would think it would look much better being pushed more towards the back of the boat. I'd also be curious how much you spend on the engine build to push that boat anywhere near 70mph. That's alot of weight for a single engine to move that fast.

My boat master says I'll need around 550-600 hp, bravo 1 lower, pushing 28-30 4 blade cleaver style prop.

    Motor budget is $9,000
Lower unit upgraded to handle power $1750
    Prop $750-1000

I've been racing cars for many years and BBC race parts are cheaper then peps think. Go price carrillo rods for a boat motor, then price em for a BBC circle track motor. $500 difference, yet same part number, just different supplier. Same with pistons, cams, rockers, lifters, etc. Aluminum heads and the crank are the spendy parts.

Upgrades like bigger oil cooler, BIG throttle body, flashed ECU, injectors, deep oil pan and headers/exhaust add $3500-4000 and are included in the budget.

If I shop around, I'm sure I can whittle away at it some too.

Every time out people ask what it is.

When I bought mine I figured I was the only one with a z302 in the entire NW. 3rd day on the river last year I find 2 moored in separate yacht clubs and now learn that a guy that I ride ATV's with has a Mariah too. Such a small world it is

    Kinda reminds me of this...

Personally I think your boat looks great in it's OEM form, but as it's been said before, to each his own. I think if Mariah wanted to build a boat that was flashy and attracted attention, they would have. Instead they made a luxurious boat with clean lines and subtle accents to keep things "classy". Plus $2600 sure would buy a lot of fuel....

It's funny, often times people think Mariah is the name of the boat. I would actually expect this particular graphic to get that reaction even more often since offshore boats often have their name on the sides. (did I mention often?)

I would like to register the vessel name as my state OR numbers and do away with those forever.

I like the wrap but I would as stated previous make the mariah smaller shifted towards the back slightly maybe slope the whole design a tad just a thought. I haven't even owned a Mariah yet and I am loving these boats and this place.

Also as you mentioned most of the motor parts are same part number but you say marine you pay extra a friend of mine owned his own shop doing boats for 20+ years I brought mine in to make sure as a car guy I was going to do it right on reinstalling and when he saw the difference in price and we checked some part numbers he was pissed to say the least he said to build that sbc he would have had to charge out near double what I built it for just to make a few bucks.
