Im looking at a 1997 Mariah and need some help
 

Hello everyone,

SO ive been in the market for a boat and iv came across a 1997 Mariah 28 footer. I was originaly only looking to spen up to 10K but this guy has one locally and has it up for 20K. It has 300 hours and he had got stuck in a sand bar and sand went in the motors. His insurance covered it and they installed a brand new 454 in it. I just wanted to know if this is a good deal or not. Thanks for the help :)

You could go to the NADA boat value site and plug in the information that you know to see what they say about the value but i'm sure there are others here with similar boats that will chime in.

I am looking at a 1999 278 I can get it for 22k canadian but the trailer needs brakes while I am on that subject does anyone know what make of triple axle trailer and what type of brakes it should have came with?

I have a couple questions on this boat I have noticed a couple other things not sure how costly if anyone has any ideas or suggestions they won't go lower on the price. It need the center window frame repaired, the power bolsters are not working and last known thing the engine hatch lift/lifts are missing. Cost estimates would be great thanks or is this not worth the @@k canadian thier asking?
