I added a set midships when my boat was new. I know I should have backplated them, but the screws have held in nicely.

I never did understand why Mariah didn't put a set in that critical location for hanging fenders.

I'm pretty sure that the panels will lift off a '94. It think it's a great feature, especially if you're running wiring or adding accessories.
