That button allows you to press it and then activate throttle forward so the drivetrain stays in neutral but you can give the engine fuel. So you can operate engine at other than an idle yet without activating the prop until you come back to neutral again.

When depressed you can throttle up without engaging the drive.

Re: Wiring Question for Shabah 180

Thanks much!
I had it running on my driveway yesterday (trim down with water cups of course).
Thing wouldn't start up and I remember the owners guide saying to give it some gas. I did, and it started, but with the prop spinning.

I thought "There must be a safer way to do this", and now I know how!

Thanks

Chris

All, here is my latest wiring diagram.
I traced all this out and would appreciate feedback on accuracy.

I did my best to document cable colors, but due to the dirt & wear their may be some descrepencies. EG my Bilge Brown/White had almost lost all the white stripe, my greys may be whites etc.

Everything seems to make sense, with the exception of what I've labeled the "MISC" connector, this is where the radio was cabled to. There's a fused Pos from the fuse box that daisy chains through it and back into the hull harness, I have no idea where that goes. Also, theres an orange cable that feeds back into the hull harnes, I susupect that is for the wipers.

That will make more sense when you see it on the diagram.

Please anyone take a look and send me any feedback/questions/concerns/corrections.
Any & all feedback would be appreciated!

Chris
